Cleaning Tips for COVID-19

It feels as though the entire world is on lockdown right now. School, work, and all events are getting cancelled. Groceries almost impossible to find. I think we are all kind of huddling in our homes and trying to stay healthy! I wanted to share the cleaning products I use on a regular basis, a list of places that you may have never thought to sanitize, and a list of possible stores to check out if you are still searching for grocery essentials!

I am pretty simple when it comes to cleaning products. I do use a certain product for cleaning my toilet and shower, but otherwise these are my go-to's.

I am constantly wiping down and dusting with my Young Living Thieves Household Cleaner.

I know everyone believes different things when it comes to essential oils, but here and here are articles describing the disinfectant properties of thieves. I use this as a daily duster and cleaner in my home. It smells amazing! When it comes to really needing to make sure I am killing those germs, I will use Clorox wipes.

Below is a list of all of the places you should be disinfecting:

- Door knobs

- Light switches

- Remotes

- Cabinet and drawer pulls

- Faucet handles

- Toilets

- Cell phone

- Thermostat

- Kitchen appliances and their handles

- Trash cans

- Soap dispenser

- Toaster lever

- Washer and dryer doors

- Buttons on electronics such as diffusers

- Purse handles and exterior

- Car keys

- Steering Wheel

- Gear shift

- Buttons and knobs

- Touch screen

- Car door handles

- That place on your door you touch to close it that's near the handle but not quite!

Long list? Yes! Necessary? Absolutely! Maybe I'm crazy, but these are honestly just some of the places that I believe you should be disinfecting in your home. Maybe you hadn't considered a few of these before, but now you know!

The coronavirus has taken over our world for the moment causing panic and anxiety, but all we can do is play our part in keeping ourselves and our families healthy and safe. I am praying for each of you!

Here is a list of stores you may want to consider visiting if you still need some of those essentials, including our beloved toilet paper:

Dollar General, The Dollar Tree, Gas Stations, Lowe's, Home Depot, Bed Bath & Beyond, Publix, Walmart, Target, Walgreens, CVS, Amazon, Piggly Wiggly, Sprouts, Aldi, Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Winn Dixie, and any other local grocery stores that I didn't mention.

Have a happy and healthy Sunday!
